III. Strategies for Maintaining and Developing Competence
IV. Challenges Related to Maintaining and Developing Competence
Learning Objectives:
- Articulate why maintenance and ongoing development of competence is an ethical issue
- Identify at least three factors that can create problems in professional competence
- Identify at least three strategies for self-monitoring of competence
- Identify at least three ways to develop and maintain competence
- Articulate at least three potential ethical challenges associated with professional competence issues, and how to address them
